Institute for Dental Education Advancement (IDEA)

Institute for Dental Education Advancement (IDEA) is an educational foundation set up by a group of dentists, doctors and lawyer in 2005 with a vision to contribute to Singapore as the global educational and training hub in dentistry.

The objectives of IDEA:

1. to contribute to the development, advancement, know-how, technology and prestige of the dental profession and fraternity in Singapore; 
2. to contribute, provide, promote, initiate, assist, organize and develop courses, programmes, seminars and workshops for the training and education of members of the dental profession;  
3. to improve and enhance the quality and range of dental services and procedures available to the public;  
4. to promote and increase public awareness and knowledge of the dental conditions and the treatments that are available. In furtherance of these objectives, IDEA conducts courses, programmes, seminars, talks and public programmes where indicated. IDEA welcomes any local or foreign institution, organization and government agency that shares similar vision to co-organize educational programmes to benefit the dental profession and the public.
